Lifespring Food Drive
To help get food to our most vulnerable neighbors who are experience hardship due to the current SNAP cuts, we are launching a food drive for the patients of our ministry partner Lifespring Community Health. Now through Friday, November 21, there is a box in the Connector to drop off items, which will be delivered to Lifespring to stock their pantry and deliver to their patients. Below is a list of specifically requested items:
Canned goods (vegetables, fruits, beans, soups)
Dry beans
Rice
Boxed goods (mac & cheese, pasta, rice mixes)
Breakfast items (cereal, oatmeal, grits, pancake mix)
Peanut butter, almond butter, and jelly
Snacks and granola bars
Apple sauce cups and pouches
Spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce
Shelf-stable tortillas
