Just when you’d become accustomed to having IAWL on Saturdays, our annual IAWL picnic at Camp Vesper Point is on the calendar for Thursday, May 14. Think of it as another opportunity to practice being flexible!

Join us at the Camp (3216 Lee Pike, Soddy Daisy) and you are guaranteed a beautiful location, a wonderful picnic meal, good fellowship, and an opportunity to serve the community. This year we’ll be packing baskets for the kitchens and bathrooms of residents of Patten Towers. We have a lot of merchandise, and the baskets are small, so bring your packing skills!

If you want to donate to the cause, you can make a check out to First Presbyterian Church, with “IAWL Special Project” in the memo line, or you can give online to the “General Fund,” and put “IAWL Special Project” in the notes section. Or, if you want to make it easy on yourself, you can bring a cash donation to the picnic.

We’ll meet at Camp Vesper Point and start our fellowship at 10:30am. We’ll get down to business at 11:00am, and dive into our program at 11:30am. Our picnic lunch will follow at 12:00pm.
