Ron and his wife Susan were part of the 1st Pres family for 12 years, from 2002-2014, when Ron served as our Assistant Paster over Education & Discipleship. They come to us now from First Presbyterian Church of Panama City, where Ron served as the Senior Pastor. Additionally, Ron has served as Assistant Pastor at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church, Campus Minister at Florida State University, and RUF campus minister at Covenant College. 

Ron and Susan have been married almost 40 years and have two adult children Chris Brown and Anna Shay Armistead (Lewis) and two granddaughters.
