Vacation Bible School

Howdy, partners! Welcome to Wonder Junction! There’s no greater joy than to praise the name of the Lord all day long. But how can yer kids do that if they don’t know Who Jesus is or what He’s done for them? Here at Wonder Junction, we marvel at Jesus and live for His glory. As you may’ve guessed, Wonder Junction is an Old West themed VBS adventure that will teach kids about Who Jesus is as they marvel at His birth, His childhood, His ministry, His death and resurrection, and His coming return. It’s all about Jesus and the call for kids to live for His glory.

We offer VBS for children who have turned 3 by January 30, 2025 through rising 5th graders. We’re also looking for volunteers to help teach, provide snacks, and decorate; register below!

Feel free to contact our church office at (423) - 267 - 1206 or email Kids@1stPresbyterian.com with questions. Looking forward to seeing you there!

FAQ’s

At what age can my child participate in VBS?  VBS is open to children who have turned 3-years-old by January 30, 2025 through 5th grade. Nursery childcare for infants through 2-year-olds is available for those who choose to volunteer. You will register for them when you register your other children. Reminder - this is only for those of you who are volunteering!

What time does drop-o and pick-up begin?  There is a 15-minute grace period before and after VBS. Drop-o as early as 8:45AM and pick-up no later than 12:15PM.

Will my child be served a meal?  No. We will not be serving full meals and will only provide snacks that coordinate with the daily theme and lesson.

What if my child has a food sensitivity or allergy?  When you register your child there will be a place where you can let us know about allergies and other important medical info. We will do our best to accommodate allergies and sensitivities, but if we cannot find a good substitute you will be notified and may need to send your child with their own snacks.
